The Brown's Buzz: Leela's 3 months and Grayson is 2!

Hard to believe it's already been over 3 months since our little princess arrived. She's quite the cutie in our book. She's very into babbling and smiling at us. We love it. I started to worry a little that she was going to lose all her hair...but I think she's just going to lose some on the side like Grayson did. We need hair for all our bows!!!! :) She's all over the place with sleeping/eating at night. She has gone anywhere from 6 to 9 hours at night in between feedings. She normally goes down around 6:30 and is up around 6:30/7 the next morning. She's been taking two shorter naps and one longer one during the day. We've gotten her used to a bottle too, which is very nice. She has discovered her thumb and LOVES it. At first, I wasn't so sure, but she's able to put herself to sleep and calm down during the night, so I think I'll take it. She never wanted the paci so I wondered what would happen. I asked Derek if he thought it was possible to train her to only suck her thumb for sleeping so we don't still have a thumb sucker at age 3 1/2 like her big brother......ha. :)
We had Grayson's party last weekend and it was a huge success. Grayson LOVED every little bit of Wizard of Oz we had and he was quite a cute scarecrow! :) We have some pics from Nana I'm attaching. The menu included yellow brick roads (yellow rice crispie treats), Toto's in a blanket (pigs in a blanket), wicked witch cupcakes, Tinman tidbits (chips and salsa), lions, tiger and bears (animal crackers) and somewhere over the rainbow water. Grayson got all sorts of new toys and clothes for his birthday. I don't think he (or his brother) will be bored! :)
We've had lots of snow the past few weeks and so we had fun playing in it and even trying hot chocolate for the first time. Grayson loved playing with snow. Kai did until he got a little wet and then he was done. :) They both had runny noses so I brought snow inside so they weren't out in the cold. I think we are all ready for some spring weather so we can run around outside again! Neither of them were too sure about the hot chocolate, but they liked that it was in Daddy's coffee mugs!
Kai has been working on "school" quite a bit. We do a letter each week and continue to work on writing his name. He will start preschool in August and go Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. We are very excited about his preschool. He even has library, Spanish and religion class each week. There are only 12 kids in the class and his teacher seems VERY sweet. We can't wait! He keeps saying, "When I'm 4, I'll go to school, right?" I think he's going to do great!
