The Brown's Buzz: March 2015

It's so exciting to have spring weather back again...we have ALL missed our outdoor play time with the neighbors and "nature" walks. We've been going out twice a day as often as we can. This is PERFECT weather! However, we've noticed that Kai's been getting a rash on his forehead and under his eyes after we are out playing. He's been wearing a hat or sunglasses and a few times even sunscreen so we're not sure what's going on. Allergies? Heat rash? It doesn't seem to bother him, thank goodness. We've taken a break from outdoor for the last day and a half so we will see if it goes away. We can't be having this...we NEED to get out and run around.

We're excited to have Kai home for Spring Break next week. We're going to Crown Center to visit the fairy tale "museum" and go to Kaleidoscope. We're hoping to meet up with Nana and visit her workplace and meet coworkers while we're there. There's a cookie decorating event at the library on Tuesday and Kai and I are participating in a "cracker" taste testing for several days at K-State Olathe campus. Of course, we'll also have lots of time to play with friends. Hope it's still nice weather! Gonna be a busy week!

We've had fun playing with Grayson's new toys from his birthday. Nice to have new things to play with now that Christmas toys have been around a few months. :) He had such a good time at his party and he looked quite cute. He dressed up as one of the doctors from the show--bowtie and jacket!

Kai had Kindergarten enrollment a few weeks ago. We still aren't sure which school he will be attending yet. We have not heard back from the district. He came back with a ring of things to practice this summer. He got started right away! ;) I can't believe that this is happening......
