3 Weeks To Go....

It's hard to believe that we've only got about 3 weeks until we become a family of four!!!!We're so excited to meet our new little guy! Baby Brown #2's room is all ready to go and Kai's been enjoying his "big boy room" for several weeks now! We just keep wondering when he will make his appearance...we start weekly appointments this week so we'll see if there's any progress!
We had Kai evaluated for possible speech concerns and he qualified for a speech pathologist from Infant Toddler Services to come on a regular basis. They will come out next week to write his IFSP plan with some goals. He has actually come a long way in the past few weeks....he's started to babble more consistantly...he's also now saying more words:mama, bye-bye, Barbeque(name of one of his GI Joe toys), cracker, more, please(well half of the word!) and night-night. We're getting there! :) Some day he will be a talking machine, I'm sure!
We also have some construction going on....we're moving our laundry upstairs from the basement off the main floor bathroom. Derek and his dad built an laundry closet addition going out into the garage. I'm so excited to have laundry on the main level--will make things SOOO much easier!! Kai's had fun seeing Grandpa every weekend working...he would certainly like to help them! :)
Here's a few pics and videos! Next time I post we will have two boys--CRAZY!

Big Boy Room

We have officially finished Kai's new room. His dresser only took 3 hours of our lives! Haha, the color matches the crib, so I'm not going to complain! :) Kai's pretty excited about it and even took a short nap in there this afternoon....I'm hoping we can make a smooth transition to the new room the next few weeks. He loves going in there! :) I've posted a few pictures of his new room and a few from Christmas. Enjoy!
