Happy Summer! I know....it's been a while! :) We've had a very busy summer already! It seems like Kai grows and changes every day...it's hard to believe he'll be one in just a few weeks!!! We are still not walking yet, but we're getting closer and closer. He's becoming a little more brave with reaching for things and standing up on his own.....any day now! Kai has also started to make a few more sounds.....we're up to baba, dada and mama. The only one we really hear is baba though. Sleeping has become a bit interesting....we've heard him awake at 5:30, but then he's been going back to sleep for a bit.....he's been skipping his afternoon nap at times and just sleeping in the morning....not quite sure what he's going to do with his nap schedule! Guess we'll wait and see. Just so glad that I can be home with him while we work this all out!
We can't wait to see what other adventures and excitement we have this summer! I've attached a few pics and a video from our first "pool" experience. We bought a little plastic pool in the shape of a whale. We thought we would try that out until the neighborhood pool water warms up a bit. He seemed to like it! Enjoy and thanks for reading!
