Kai's superhero party was a success. Kai was Batman, Grayson was Superman, Mommy was Catwoman and Daddy attempted to be Joker, but Kai didn't like it so he had to take off his costume/makeup. :) He got all sorts of new toys and clothes. We should be set for a while! It was a SUPER good time! :)
Last week I taught the Little Angels Bible School for the mothers of young children group at church. It's for ages 0-5. Luckily, moms stay with the kids so it wasn't too hard. We had story time, songs, snack and craft. Kai had fun going every day playing with his friends. He really had fun with the craft projects! Most of them involved stickers, which he LOVES, so I think that's why he spent so much time on them. :)
Last weekend, we bought a minivan!!!! Woot woot! Actually, I knew I would like it because there's so much more room in it. Derek likes to remind me that when he first met me I said I would NEVER drive a minivan. Haha... what was I thinking? It's so practical!!!! :) We ended up getting it a little earlier than planned, but we were starting to get worried about the Honda and didn't want to be investing any more money in that car. So, after about 12 years of good times, it's been sold. :( I can distinctly remember shopping with Dad for a new car. That car got a lot of good use.
We've had lots of fun playing outside. Derek's taken the boys to the pool a few times and we've had fun with neighbors in the sprinkler and playing out back. Here's some pics of summer fun! Thanks for reading!
