Almost 9 Months!

I can't believe that Kai will be 9 months old next week! I know I say that every time we hit the next month "landmark", but it just baffles me how fast they really do grow! It seems like he's constantly changing. Kai LOVES his play time and boy does he play hard all day long....crawling around investigating EVERYTHING he sees! It's wearing Mommy and Daddy out! No wonder he sleeps for 12 hours at night--he's so tired from all the playing! Kai has really gotten fast at crawling and pulling himself up to a standing position--he's even started to reach out and try to grab us and "walk" to us with some help...I feel like he's going to be walking soon! We've started feeding him chicken now and he seems to like it pretty well. He's also very into feeding himself- he loves to eat the "puffs" or Cheerios and now he keeps trying to grab the spoon and feed himself, but he really just wants to play around and make a mess! He's also discovered how to "blow bubbles", which always makes for a fun time while eating!!! Derek taught him how to give kisses so we've had fun getting them from Kai.

We're anxious to have his surgery over with next week. We know he'll do just fine and then we won't have to worry about it anymore! Thanks for keeping him in your thoughts and prayers! Enjoy the videos and thanks for reading! :)
