Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! Derek and I have so much to be thankful for and it's such a blessing that we have our little baby Kai here with us! What a special Thanksgiving for us! I must admit, it's a little weird not being up in Iowa with my Mom's family this year. It doesn't really feel like it's Thanksgiving......I went and got our groceries for the week this morning and was surprised to see how many people were out and about!!!Wal-Mart is the place to be! Ha! I did make a "Thanksgiving meal" before Derek went to work, but no turkey for us--chicken, stuffing, crescent rolls and pumpkin spice cake. Not bad for my first Thanksgiving meal...maybe next year I'll tackle the turkey and add a veggie....whoops! :)
We put together Kai's exersaucer this morning and Kai LOVES it! He's a little short for it still so he can't turn himself around in it yet, but it won't be too long! He just keeps babbling and smiling while he plays with all his new "toys". He's so cute!
We've started rice cereal....he's doing surprisingly well....he spits it out a few times before he swallows it sometimes, but he acts like he really likes it! We'll keep trying it and see how he does......I'll put a video or pics of it up soon!
Well, Kai has gotten this whole rolling around thing down...he's rolling all over the place! We can't leave him on the floor and think he'll stay in one place anymore! It's so fun to watch him move around! Derek took a really cute video of him. I've also attached another short video of Kai with Dad's hat! :)
We go to meet the urologist next Thursday so we'll see what they think we should do. Hoping we can have answers after our appointment. I feel like it's dragging out a bit and I just want to know what we are going to have to do! Thank you for all of you thoughts and prayers. Kai's so lucky to have all of you in his life!
